COREED TSUNAMI OPERATIONS

PHASE 3 Providing Temporary shelter in the COREED buildings & providing relief material in the villages

Villagers who lost their shelter were shifted into to COREED building.They are : George Technical Institute, Tabitha Women Developmen Center, Rainbow Women Developmen Center, Zurich Women Development Center and Edith & Vereena Women Development Center. The victims were in trauma ( shock ) that they could not come out of the situation for long time. They were counselled, provided with fresh food, water and were examined by the medical team of COREED with medicine. More then 1800 victims have taken shelter in these building for 6 days. After that these victims went back to their village.

Besides this we also went to the villages with 15 kg of rice, two sets of utensils,buckets,mugs,plates,glasses and bed sheets as a kit to one family as an  immediate relief and distributed to the victims  who were desperately seeking help.
